Making the Getaway

[Miroku Angelo]

Miroku grinned once again. "Something so beautiful," Miroku said to himself, "Yet so deadly." He listened to Hiro's words careful as he watched Yumi walk to the other side. "Bye-bye now," He said as she walked away.

He put his hand on Hiro's shoulder. Miroku considered the two to be friends now so he thought it was okay. "I still didn't catch her name," Miroku looked at Hiro, "I don't think she likes me very well."

[Hiro Yui]

Hiro looked at Miroku. "She didn't even tell me her name, either. I overheard Rau calling her Yumi, so I guess that is her name." he replied. He then looked at Yumi again seeing her reading the data on the computer. "Don't worry, she just needs to know they you are dependable in battle. Once she realizes that, I'm sure she will open up. It is just that she is so mysterious. Only destruction and those who get in her way consumes her." said Hiro.

[Miroku Angelo]

Miroku couldn't wait til he got to feel combat again. He wanted that rush that he been craving ever since the end of the second war. He grinned at the thought. "Well, I'm going to go get me something to eat," Miroku smiled, "You're welcome to join me Hiro if you like."

[Hiro Yui]

"There's a chance, ZAFT might persue us, but I am getting hungry," he said to Miroku. He then looked toward Yumi's direction. "Hey, we're going to get something to eat, do you want to come?" asked Hiro as he was raising his voice so he can be heard in the hanger.

[Yumi Ishikawa]

Yumi didn't reply. She turned her head to look back at Hiro and Miroku and motion them to go on her ahead. Nothing, but maintenance was on her mind. She still couldn't believe how she was damaged by a standard mobile suit. "Never again...." she said quietly as she took the reading from the computer.

[Miroku Angelo]

Miroku grinned once again. "And I was really looking forward to getting to know both of you a little better," Miroku signed, "Well, just don't over do it Miss Yumi." He then turned his attentionback to Hiro. "Shall we be on our way my friend?" Miroku asked.

[Hiro Yui]

Hiro looked at Yumi for awhile. Then turned his attention to Miroku. "I haven't had anything since we took the machines from them," he said to Miroku. He then nodded and made their way to the Mess Hall.

[Yumi Ishikawa]

Yumi got done making adjustments in the O.S. of her mobile suit. She took a look at Destiny Impulse and replayed the moment in her head, the time when the GuAIZ unit dealt damage to her mobile suit. She clenched her fist and grinded her teeth. Still in the cockpit she crossed her legs and put her arms behind her head as her eyes slowly closed.

[Rau le Creuset]

Rau was sitting down at the chair when one of the CIC informed Rau of a fast approaching ZAFT ship. It was registered as ZAFT ship Minerva. Rau smiled evily knowing ZAFT would eventually pursuit them. "On hands condition red, alert the pilots immediately" he said.

[Kira Yamato]

After an hour the Minerva caught up with the renegade ship Argama after it left Armory One. Kira was sitting at the chair when suddenly he sensed something. It was a familiar sense that Mwu had also picked up when the assasination attempt occured.

[Miroku Angelo]

Miroku walked over to the captain's chair where Rau le Creuset was sitting. "What took them so long cap'n," Miroku grinned, "ZAFT sure did take their time getting here." He looked over to all the people working at the bridge and turned his attention back to Rau le Creuset. "Only one ship..." Miroku signed, "That's disappointing." One of the crew member caught his attention when he said that the ship was the Minerva. "I guess I better suit up then," Miroku smiled.

[Hiro Yui]

"I don't know much about that ship, but it seems it is a worthy ship of attacking us. Maybe sending one ship means that it only takes one of their ships to take us down. I won't make it easier on them." Hiro said. He then reported to Rau le Creuset and told him that he will sortie. Hiro was in the pilot's lounge getting ready. He had his mobile suit uniform on with his helmet at his side.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

Shinya quickly made his way to the pilot's lounge. He got into his mobile suit uniform. As he zipped his pilot uniform and made his way to the pilot's lounge he could Sakura through the window. He smiled as he was getting ready to sortie.

[Miroku Angelo]

"You be safe now," Miroku said to Hiro. He then looked over to Rau le Creuset and smiled, "I guess i'll be on my way... Bye-bye now Cap'n," He said as he left the room. He slowly followed behind Hiro. He quickly put his black and blue custom pilot uniform on and grabbed hold of his helmet. "I truly hate wearing these things," Miroku grinned, "But you can never be too safe." He gently put his dark purple helmet on and walked to the mobile suit hanger and got into the cockpit of a ZGMF-600 GuAIZ. He slowly hit a few switches to get the mobile suit fully operating. "Its been too long," Miroku grinned, "Far too long." He sat in the cockpit and awaited the rest of the orders from Rau.
