[Akitsuki Yamato]

After a meeting up with the others, Shinya returned to the hanger where Epyon was being hold. He found his uniform pressed and hanged in the locker room. He put his uniform back on. He left the locker room and headed for Epyon as he was buttoning his collar.

[Sakurai Honoka]

"Shinya!" she shouted as she saw him buttoning his collar. She stopped as she suddenly hesistated. She wasn't the type of girl to be forward, but she knew if she didn't try, someone might be with him instead. "Uh..." she said as she blushed a bit.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

"Yes, Sakurai, what is it?" he asked as he looked at her. He noticed her hesitation and looked at her. He then smiled and said,"There is nothing worry about it Sakurai you can say anything to me," he stated.

[Sakurai Honoka]

"Uh..." she said as she hesitated. She fought her hesitation and finally spoke. "Oh I just wanted to see how you were doing Shinya." she said. She blushed a bit and recovered by saying,"Oh is that your mobile suit? I wonder if it is the same the Vent Savior," she said.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

Shinya paused for a moment so Sakurai could gather her thoughts. He smiled and said,"The O.S. is the same Savior since the technology was based off of that mobile suit. Vent Savior should be no different." He proceeded to go on the platform that would take him the cockpit of Epyon. He looked back and asked Sakurai if she wanted to come.

[Sakurai Honoka]

"Y-Yes, of course I would love to, uh I would like to," she said as she ran towards the lift to see the inside of the Epyon. She was amazed at mobile suit although the phase shift was off she was still surprised at the mobile suit.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

Shinya invited Sakurai into the Epyon's cockpit. "It is not as fancy as Freedom, but the system is almost identical to the Savior," he said. Shinya smiled as he looked at Sakurai.

[Sakurai Honoka]

Sakurai looked at Shinya briefly and looked at the console quickly so he wouldn't catch her blushing. She thought to herself she has gotten this far with him, but she should not stop. She then started thinking...

"Shinya," she said. "That girl you had a date with...did you like her?" she asked.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

Shinya looked at Sakurai with a surprised look on his face. He didn't expect her to say those words. "Sakurai...I just met her and we had dinner." he replied. "How come you wanted to know." he replied.

[Sakurai Honoka]

Sakurai wanted to tell Shinya her feelings, but she couldn't at the time. She couldn't even run away bbecause she was in the cockpit of Epyon with Shinya. She quickly had to make something up so she said,"Oh...it's nothing, I was just worried about you." replied Sakurai.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

"Thank you," he said after briefly smiling at her. He started to think about why she wanted to know all of a sudden. He looked at her again and said,"Sakurai, tell me more about yourself. I can tell you are a nice girl and very kind. If you tell me about yourself, I will tell you about more about me," he said to her.

[Sakurai Honoka]

She smiled and said,"Of course." She then got out of the pilot's chair and let Shinya sit so he can configure the O.S. as the two would talk to each other. Sakurai felt a little at ease so she said,"Why don't you go first," since you are the senior officer.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

Shinya smiled. "Ok, fair enough," he said, "I was born in September and grew up there. I attended school there. My family moved to Orb after the first. When Orb was taken over by Earth Alliance my parents and I moved back to September City. After high school I went to the academy and joined ZAFT. It was still the second war, but I was stationed in Carptentaria Base during the last battle in Messiah." he added.

Shinya looked at Sakurai. "You don't seem the type of girl to be out in the battlefield, but I know you do have skills because you passed the academy with high honors." he said.

[Sakurai Honoka]

Sakurai briefly looked at Shinya before looking in front of her. "I grew up in Junius 7, but before the tragedy my family moved September City. I stayed in September City for all two of the wars and just recently graduated the academy and got my first assignment on board the Minerva. I joined because I wanted to do something about protecting those who I care about. She blushed a little knowing he was right next her.

Shinya looked at Sakurai with an interest in her story. She joined for a good a reason, but he never told her why he joined. Shinya avoided that subject, but smiled as he looked in her eyes.
