Unrest in PLANTs

[Lacus Clyne]

(((OCC: This takes place during the Meeting in the Pier)))

Lacus Clyne was trying to calm the representatives in the council meeting. However, she found out that some of the people are against her maintaining peace based on the recent events. Others did agree on her stance in maintaining peace through diplomacy.

The council was split into 2 deciding factors. One that will go to war while the other will maintain peace.

Lacus could tell that this was not going the way she wanted to. There were even mentions of Patrick Zala in the meeting.

"That's right, I said Patrick Zala," said a man in a mask. "My name is Carozzo Ronah, former ZAFT commander of Junius 7 defense force until it was destroyed. I come here today to speak out against the Chairwoman's stance on peace." he replied.

He then looked at Lacus Clyne.

"You're saying we should maintain peace and yet 3 of our units and a ship have been stolen and used against our forces. Do you want us to sit idly by as incidents like these happen?" he said out loud.

Lacus Clyne maintained her composure and looked at Carozzo Ronah. "Mr. Ronah, I know how you feel. No one said the path to peace would be easy. Someone once told me One is killed for killing another and then gets killed for killing. How is that going to bring peace. That is how I think." she replied in a gentle voice.

Beneath Carozzo's mask his smiled. "My dear lady, I knew you would say such foolish things. That is why I will take PLANTs by force. Patrick Zala's ambition will soon be realize," he said.

Suddenly a huge explosion was felt as troops supporting Carozzo Ronah arrived. Zakus were suddenly attacking each other. Glory to the Zala Foundation was the battle cry for the ZAFT defectors defection to Carozzo Ronah.

Lacus' bodyguards came to her rescue, but some of her troops were shot or was blown away by the explosion. She was suddenly worried and thought about Kira and how she needed him at this moment.

Outside the City Counicil Zaku's from the Zala Foundation took guarded the building. Blitz arrived and started to shoot mulitiple times other Zakus supporting Lacus Clyne's ZAFT.



Expolosion could be seen in the surrounding areas.

Lacus was powerless to stop Ronah's attack, but it has seemed a ZAFT civil war has sparked. She was afraid this would happen. Patrick Zala has been dead for a long time, but his ideals seem to live on. She wanted to see Kira.

Ronah then looked at Lacus Clyne. "Now I will be taking control of PLANTs. No more running away. We will show those Naturals not to take what is rightfully ours." he said.

He then looked at the screen and saw Blitz. "Looks like the operation was a complete success," he said with a smile.

Creuset sent a message to Ronah informing him that the key PLANTs were under his control.

Although, the Zala foundation took control of PLANTs there were still resistance fighters fighting on behalf of Lacus Clyne. Lacus was in the corner of the room being protected by her bodyguards. She could tell there were still fighting.

Carozzo Ronah smiled as he learned that he has full control of the resources of PLANTs thanks to his commander, Rau le Creuset.

Ronah then ordered his men to put the Chairwoman in cell.


Moments later Carozzo Ronah made an annoucement to the whole world. He appeared in front of the ZAFT flag and said, "Today marks the day when the ideals of a great leader will soon be realize. Patrick Zala's ideals of Coordinators being the next step of human developement is what I strongly believe. I have taken PLANTs by force especially the resource PLANTs. The former leader was not good enough to meet by standards so I took the leadership by force. The Zala Foundation would soon be realize as every Natural would be wiped out!" he said.



Rau le Creuset was still outside shooting down what little resistance he encountered.

Lacus was seperated from her bodyguards and the council members. She was taken to a cell at the end of the hall. As the Zala Foundation soldier locked the cell door behind her, she thought about what could she do to help PLANTs. She still is Chairwoman of PLANTs and technically, Ronah seperated himself from PLANTs.

Carozzo Ronah then signal the attack on the ZAFT bases on Earth. For the first time it was ZAFT fighting ZAFT. He smiled as his plan was going to fruition.

Meanwhile, Rau le Creuset has not forgotten Earth Alliance's involvement. He then ordered Wing Zero, Destiny Impulse, and Kyrios to take a ZAFT drop ship that will send them to the Zala Foundation occupied Gibralter base and wait futher instructions. Rau le Creuset told them he would be staying in Aprilius City.

Lacus sat down in her cell room's bed. She hugged her knees thinking about Kira and what she can do to help the present situation.

Ronah then thought how easy it was for him to take over PLANTs. "Where is the chairwoman's supreme ZAFT commander?" he asked.

Rau le Creuset replied, "From what we gathered he is commanding the Minerva which is on Earth some where in the Pacific," he said.

Lacus looked out the window and can see Aprilius. She can see Zakus positioned in various checkpoints. She felt powerless to do anything and was thinking about Kira.
