"Understood Sir," replied Shinya. Although Kira is not in his chain of command Shinya saluted Kira as a sign of respect. Shinya then looked at Sakurai and smiled. "You were quiet this whole time. Why didn't you say anything?" he asked.
Shinya then said, "I guess better make sure our mobile suits are functioning."

Sakurai blushed a little at the attention she was given. She nodded her head. After hearing Shinya speak she followed him to the hanger bay.

A message came from Cagalli and she asked Kira if Shinya and Sakurai would bring their mobile suits to Archangel's hanger bay. She said she would agree to help assist in escorting them to Lagash.

Kira smiled and relayed the message to the hanger bay so that Shinya and Sakurai can listen to it. He returned to making preparations for rescuing Lacus.

Shinya was already inside the cockpit of Epyon as a message appeared in its O.S. Shinya looked at Vent Savior and forward the message. The hanger bay doors opened. Epyon flew out and headed towards Archangel. |

After reading the message Sakurai saw Epyon leaving the hanger bay of Minerva. She started up Vent Savior. When the phase shift was turned on. Vent Savior flew out of the hanger bay and headed towards Archangel. |

When the two mobile suits took off Sakura asked Kira about Phantom Pain and why they left all of sudden.

Kira looked at the CIC and said, "I'm sure they have other matters to tend to, just like us. Our main focus now, is to make sure Lacus is safe and with us." He said.

Kira told everyone on the ship they are leaving in a few hours. Kira was determined to rescue Lacus. He was very worried about her safety.

Sakura could tell how Kira was determined to rescue Lacus. Although she was nervous about the upcoming mission, she knew this has to be done for PLANTs and for the people she cares about.

After 2 hours, Kira instructed the crew to get ready to go into space. He had Minerva positioned to the Kaguya Mass Driver. "All hands, prepare for launch," he said.
