Minerva launches towards spaces and breaks through Earth's atomosphere. After passing through Kira could see the vastness of space through the ship's viewing screen. They were heading towards Aprilius City. |

Corrozo was busy tending to PLANTs, but didn't realize the flagship of ZAFT, Minerva was detected.
Rau le Creuset had disable the sensors allowing Minerva to come closer. Rau smiled as his plan was being fufilled.

Sakura informed Kira, they were approaching Aprililus City. Her heart started to beat fast as she knew a fierce battle was about to take place.

Kira told everyone to prepare for battle. "Sakura, I am going to sortie." he said as he headed towards the hanger bay. He quickly got into his mobile suit uniform and put his helmet on.

Kira makes another annoucement. "All hands prepare for battle. Report to your battlestations, lower the bridge" he said while making the annoucement from the hanger.
Kira climbed aboard Wing Zero One. "Launch Zakus," said Kira to Sakura.

The alarms went off and Rau le Creuset smiled. He anticipated the return the Minerva. He quickly ran towards Corozzo Ronah telling him that the ZAFT main fleet has arrived. Ronah tells Rau to sortie and head to the battlefield.
"Understood," said Rau as he smiled.

Rau le Creuset quickly gets into his mobile suit pilot uniform and takes the line up to Blitz's cockpit. He turns on Blitz's O.S. Phase shift activated.
"Rau le Creuset, Blitz, Hasshinsuru!" shouted Rau as Blitz took off.

Sakura keeps Kira updated on battlefield. "First wave of Zakus have launched." she said. Sakura then receives a message from a few ZAFT ships declaring they would help retake PLANTs' capital.

Kira's mobile suit was loaded onto the catapault. The signal lit up green.
"Kira Yamato, Zero One, Ikimasu!" shouted Kira as Wing Zero One was launched into space.
Kira encountered overwhelming odds, but manages to to shoot down Z.F. mobile suits with ease, however there were time he struggled.
In MS mode, Wing Zero One fired its long range cannon at a ship it spotted.
