The one year anniversary was approaching soon and Lacus invited everyone from Earth Alliance and Orb in a memorial service honoring all those who fought to attain peace. She looked on to see many people gathering.

Just then, Kira entered. "Lacus." he said to her smiling. It's been a year now and I can see peace finally returning. He went to her and gave her a hug while holding her hand.

One of those people, was Sakura, who was going to school in Aprilius City. She was continuing her college education. She loved Lacus Clyne and view her as an idol. She was excited to hear one of her speeches.

Amont the crowd was a man wearing sunglasses. He seems to be focusing on the front stage where Lacus was about to make her speech. He smiled.

Lacus held Kira's hand and gave him a kiss. I just hope we can make this peace last a long time. It's been almost 4 years after the first two wars.

Just then an Orb shuttle docked into Aprilius's port. Mwu was on board with some members from Orb.

Shinya was outside in charge of security. He was to attend the Memorial Service as being a member of FAITH. He looked at everyone and said,"Though this peace time, I want to make sure no one gets hurt in there. Make sure to report any suspicions to me at once."
The soldiers gave him the ZAFT salute.

Lacus looked at him and smiled. I will make sure to keep my father's ideals a reality. She kissed him as she was getting ready to enter the stage.

Suddenly a voice called out Kira. "Hey, kid" he said while smiling. It's been awhile. How you been? I see things are turning great up here in PLANTs.

Kira looked in the direction of where the voice was coming from. "Mwu san!" he said suprisingly. It's good to see you again. How's everything in Orb. It's been quite hectic here in PLANTs. Lacus is doing her very best trying to keep close ties with Orb and Earth Alliance.

While Kira and Mwu were conversing, Lacus entered the stage where everyone cheered. "Thank you all for coming!" she said with excitment.

Mwu then smiled. The "Pink Princess" is doing her best. I just know it. He pated Kira on the shoulder. "Come, let us join the Chairwoman in the stage. Top officers from the branch are suppose to be there.

As her idol appeared on stage Sakura, suddenly got excited as she saw Lacus. She clapped as she saw Kira and Mwu entered the stage.

Kira followed Mwu on to the stage and they were both greeted with a standing ovation. Kira then noticed something. "Mwu, I don't see any of the Earth Alliance officers here." he said to him.
