The Windam's pilot watched as the damaged CGue left with the attacking mobile suits then he ordered the Dagger 1As and Windams back to the ship while he shut down his Custom Windam down and exited it while still waring his pilot suit with his helmet still on.

After the conflict was over, Kira climbed down from the green zaku and ran for Lacus. "Lacus! Are you ok?" he said, while running over to her. He was concern for her well-being.

Mwu quickly sent a message to Murrue who was still in Orb at the time. He told her of another attempt on Lacus Clyne's life. He also mentioned that something wasn't right. He had a feeling.

Lacus Clyne ran towards Kira embracing him as hard as she could. She was scared. She then looked at Kira and Mwu. "I was the target, wasn't I," she said to them both.

The pilot walked towards Kira, Lacus, and Mwu while removing his helmet and said "Is the chairwoman alright?"

Still holding on to Lacus, Kira looked at the Earth Alliance pilot. "Thank you for assisting us. I did not realize we would be attack so soon after the second war ended." he said. He then looked at Lacus and then to the Earth Alliance pilot. "The Chairwoman is fine now, thanks to you. So what is your name? I'm Commander Kira Yamato," he said to the unknown Earth Alliance pilot.

The pilot sighed in releif then said, "I'm Eric Takemura, and I am the Captain of the 81st Mobile battalion also known as Phantom Pain."

Kira was surprised knowing that Phantom Pain's sole purpose was to kill Coordinators. "I guess I was wrong about Phantom Pain." he said to him. I fought members of Phantom Pain in the last war, I am just surprised that one has helped us to protect Lacus." he told Eric.

Eric acted calm when he said to Kira, "Even tho Phantom Pain sole objective is like you said I felt obligated as someone that can set something right instead of doing the wrong thing." He then puased and then began to think of something.

Mwu stood there quietly. He noticed that Phantom Pain had already found a replacment captain. He was also known as Neo Lorrnoke. He then stepped foward and smiled. "Hello there, kid. Mwu la Flaga, it's nice to meet you." he said to Eric.

Eric stopped thinking when the person in the Orb Uniform introduces himself as Mwu La Flaga then Eric got a strange feeling that he met Mwu before, "Its nice to meet you to I'm Eric Takemura." He said to Mwu.

Mwu smiled and said, "It's hard to believe a kid like you can make captain, but here you are standing." Mwu suddenly thought to himself of why would Phantom Pain protect Coordinators. He knew when he was Neo that the sole purpose was wipe out every Coodinators.

Lacus forced a smile on her face as she held Kira's arm tighter. "Right now, what's more important is that we all are safe." she said. She thought for awhile then spoke. "Will there ever be a world where all of can co-exist?" she said to all of them.
