While Sakura and Sakurai were talking Kira approached Lacus and held both of her hand. "I'm glad you are safe Lacus. Please let me know if you need anything," he said to her as he looked into her eyes.

Lacus briefly blushed. "Kira, I am doing ok, but please be careful out there. I am always worried whenever you are fighting," she said.

While Kira and Lacus were speaking Sakurai had some questions about Shinya. She then asked Sakura how well she knew of the FAITH member.

Sakura thought for a moment about Shinya. "I've only met him once in Armory One," she replied. She then wondered why she would want to know more about Shinya. She smiled at the thought of Sakurai having a crush on Shinya.

Kira kissed Lacus and smiled at her. "Please do not worry about me, Lacus. I will be fine." replied. Kira continued to reassure Lacus that he will be fine and that the Minerva will be in good hands.

Lacus blushed for awhile as she looked into Kira's eyes. She felt safe in his arms. Lacus felt at ease aftering hear the words from Kira. She wanted to be with Kira, but she knows she has duties to fullfill as Chairwoman of PLANTs.

Sakurai blushed a bit. "No, it is nothing like that," she replied to Sakura. Sakurai didn't want to let anyone know how she feels because she is worried that someone else might like Shinya just as she does.

Sakura giggled. "If you say so," she replied as she was teasing Sakurai. She told Sakurai she is going to talk to Kira about plans on leaving. She saluted Kira and said,"Yamato taicho when are we planning to leave."

Kira was still talking to Lacus, but as he turned towards Sakura's position he returned the ZAFT salute. "As soon as the Minerva is finished replenishing supplies we are to head to Orb to meet up with Shinya," he replied.

Sakurai closed her eyes and looked the other way trying to act annoyed at what Sakura was saying to her. She knew little of about the FAITH member, but she wanted to know more about him.

Kira overhears the annoucement and resupplying and replenshiments have been completed. Kira looked at Lacus again. He knew Lacus would always worry about him. "Take care Lacus," he said to her as he hugged her and kissed her. Kira then boarded the Minverva. |

Sakura looked at Kira and Lacus while holding her hands in front of her face to hide her giggling. She had always admire the two of them. How their love in strong even in the darkest of time. She gave a ZAFT salute to Lacus and boarded the ship.

Sakurai did the same thing as Sakura. She blushed again seeing the two of them kissing. She saluted Lacus and Kira and made her way to Minerva.
