After the Artemis Encounter

[Kira Yamato]

This takes place after the Artemis Encounter with Creuset Faction and Phantom Pain

Kira arrived at the PLANT supreme council building with Shinya. It was an eventful encounter and lots of lingering thoughts were filling their heads with ideas of possible war. Kira didn't like the idea.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

While Shinya was waiting in the elevator he looked outside looking at the surrounding buildings and artificial plant life. He thought of his close encounter between the two slaugther dagger, but he couldn't shake the idea that one of them would step up to take the damage for the other. "It does not makes sense," he said to himself.

[Kira Yamato]

The elevator reached the floor in which they will meet the chairwoman of PLANTs. Kira was happy to see Lacus again even though the threat of a new war is close by. He accompanied Shinya down the hall that led to a door. Kira opened the door and saw Lacus waiting for them.

[Lacus Clyne]

Lacus' expression brighten as she saw Kira. She smiled as she saw Kira and Shinya approached. "It's been awhile Kira. How are you doing?" she said with a smile. She then looks at Shinya. "Hello, FAITH member Tanaka, it is a pleasure to meet you."

[Akitsuki Yamato]

Shinya lost his bearings after meeting his the chairwoman. He pulled himself together and saluted the ZAFT salute to Lacus Clyne. "Shi-Shinya Tanaka reporting," he said as he struggled to regain his composure.

[Lacus Clyne]

Lacus giggled a bit. "Please relax, you have nothing to worry about. I am however, concerned on what has been happening lately. I would like to ask you what is going on through your perspective before asking Kira."

She paused for a while looking at Kira and smiled briefly before talking to Shinya.

[Kira Yamato]

Standing behind Shinya, Kira smiled back at Lacus before going back to his military role. Though Kira is a commander he still acts the same way before.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

Shinya began to tell Chairwoman Clyne about his perspective on what had happened. He told her that Earth Alliance was also involved, but not a part of the terrorists.

[Kira Yamato]

After Shinya submitted his report Kira told just about the same thing as Shinya did. Kira also expessed how he didn't like what was going on.

[Lacus Clyne]

Lacus' face looked grim. She didn't want another war, but it seems like it was heading in that direction. What's worst is that X27S was stolen along with a ship and Destiny Impulse. She looked at Kira and then Shinya. "I'm assigning you two to the Minerva and Shinya will report directly to me. We are exercising our right to defend. Kira, I want you to stay with me for awhile. Shinya, I have an assignment for you," she said.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

Shinya snapped into attenion "Hai" Shinya said in a miltary manner. Shinya then spoked to Chairwoman Clyne. "Clyne Gicho, with Kira and myself there are only 2 pilots on the ship. We are outnumbered." Shinya said respectfully.

[Kira Yamato]

Kira liked the idea of stay with Lacus whether it was formal or not. He always felt at ease whenever she is with him. Kira nodded and smile in response to Chairwoman Lacus Clyne's decision.

[Lacus Clyne]

Lacus told Kira to wait in the other as she led Shinya to another room. "I understand that it is only you and Kira that is the available pilots on the Minerva and this a last minute thing. I just really need to get a hold on what's going on," she said. Lacus then motioned someone to enter the room.

"You may enter now," she said.

[Sakurai Honoka]

Sakurai stepped inside the room and gave the ZAFT salute to both Chairwoman Lacus Clyne and FAITH member Shinya Tanaka. "Sakurai Honoka reporting," she said as she looked at Shinya and Lacus.

[Akitsuki Yamato]

Shinya paused for awhile and thought what a cute girl she was, then he snapped back to his military composure. He returned the ZAFT salute. "Please to meet you Sakurai Honoka. I guess we will be working together." He said.
