(((OCC: Play song)))Yumi arrived in the memorial after walking through the Main City. It was her first time visiting the memorial. The last time she was in Orb was when she saw her brother took off in the Murasame. She laid flowers at the memorial and stared at the names of the memorial.

Shinya arrived in the memorial wearing his civilian clothes. He was wearing a button white shirt and black slacks.  He then looked at the girl next to him. She seemed focus on the memorial. Shinya decided to lay some flowers down and looked the memorial himself. He can remember the day ZAFT came to Orb. That is why we went back September City and eventually enlisted in ZAFT. |

Yumi was actually dressed the way she use to dress before she "lost the meaning humanity's existence."  The boy next to her tried to greet her, but she remained silent. As he stood there looking at the memorial she looked at him briefly. |

After staring at the memorial for awhile he noticed her looking at him. He remained looking the memorial, but spoke to her. "It's been awhile since I came back here, but I am glad I got a chance to visit this place. It's a terrible thing that this memorial had to be built because of what happened." he said.

The wind blew in her hair and she finally looked at him. "Were you from Orb as well? I use to live here. I hate coming to this place because of what happened, but this place helps me keep peace of mind" she said to him. It was a rare occassion for her to be conversing, but it seems that the peaceful scenary is helping her.

As the wind blows over him Shinya finally looks at the purple-haired girl and speaks. "I did live her before, but after Earth Alliance came and ZAFT attacking in the last war, I decided to move to September City," he said.

Yumi was shocked for the first time since the lost of her brother. "I'm from September City," she replied with what seems to be a smile. At that moment it seemed the old Yumi was back. The Yumi that was not tainted by war and destruction.

" I don't like coming here myself, but this place, this scenery always reminds me that this can be attain. Peace and tranquility," he replied. Shinya walked over to Yumi and looked at her. He then smiled and told her no matter how bad humanity can become there are always others he can influence humanity to be on the right path." he said.

Yumi began to struggle within herself. It seems Shinya's words were getting through her, but then she suddenly remembers losing her brother and how Orb burned for the second time. She struggled to maintain her "old pesonality"
She then looked at Shinya and asked, "What is your name?"

Shinya almost stumbled. "Oh I'm sorry," he said as he rubbed the back of his head and smiled. "My name is Shinya. Shinya Tanaka. It's nice to meet you," he replied. He then asked the purple haired girl her name.

Yumi forced a smile on her face. She was struggling inside, but made no outside expression to show that she was. "My name Yumi Ishikawa," she said. The gentle breeze passed both of them.

Shinya smiled as he looked at Yumi. "It's nice to meet another person who came from September City, but is a part of Orb's history." he said sincerely. They both watched the sunset together. Shinya then asked Yumi if she wanted to eat since it was getting late.

Yumi smiled and said yes. She continued to look at the horizon with Shinya as the wind passes both of them.

The sun sank behind the horizon. Shinya took one last look at the memorial as he left.

As Shinya left, Yumi also took one last look. She then reminded herself that she needed to go to Onogoro Island to see of the Gold Astray Amatu was being held there. She thought to herself that she would do this after her "date."
She then caught up to Shinya.
