Going to Orb

[Kira Yamato]

After Minerva's new crew met Chairwoman Lacus Clyne they boarded the ship. All mobile suits including the ZAFT's latest experimental mobilie suits including the X25S Wing Zero One, and X23S Vent Savior were being loaded in the hanger. Kira sat on the Captain's chair. "I never thought I would be sitting in this chair," he said. He laughed at the thought of saying that.

[Sakura Hatashi]

Sakura overheard what her commander said and giggled to herself. She then sat down at the CIC console and put on her headset. "System check in process, System check ok." she said. She then check the ship's computer.

[Sakurai Honoka]

Sakurai was amazed at the ship. Every compartment she entered she had to take a look. As she passed through the passageway she couldn't help, but be amazed at the ship. She finally arrived and saw Sakura at the console and Yamato-taicho in the captain's chair. She stood next the captain's chair and looked at the viewing screen.

[Kira Yamato]

Kira then asked Sakura the status of the ship and if it is ok for the launching procedure to begin. He then looked around at the bridge admiring its engineering marvel. He still thought the Archangel was better.

[Sakura Hatashi]

Sakura replied,"Final launch check completed. We have permission to take off." The ship's engine powered up and a rumble could be felt as the ship began moving. Sakura navigated carefully through the passageway until it lead outside of Aprilius City. "We have left Aprilius City, Taicho," Sakura added.

[Sakurai Honoka]

Sakurai was amazed at everything that has happening so far. She can feel the ship's engine from all the way to the bridge. She continued to watch the viewing screen as she saw the Earth over the distance. "What was the Archangel like, Taicho." said Sakurai to Kira.

[Kira Yamato]

Kira looked at Sakurai. "Archangel was the first ship I ever boarded. It was actually by accident that I came across Archangel, but that is a different story. The archangel is an impressive ship like this, but it was nicknamed the legged ship because of it's 2 front land hangars. Acutally there was only one the other one was for the positron beam," he said.

[Sakura Hatashi]

Sakura maintained communication on this ship as she heard Kira and Sakurai's conversation.

[Sakurai Honoka]

Sakurai smiled. "It seemed like you had a good time on that ship. Did Lacus Clyne also go on that ship," she asked. She then closed her mouth. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm being to personal Taicho." she said to her commanding officer.

[Kira Yamato]

Kira smiled and said, "No that is alright Sakurai. I did have a good time on that ship. It is also where I met Lacus Clyne." Kira began to smile as he thought about meeting Lacus for the first time. "I can remember when I first saw her and heard her sing." he said.

[Sakura Hatashi]

Sakura put the controls on auto pilot as she turned her head around. The other personnel on the bridge remained at their post. She began to smile overhearing Kira Yamato talking about how he met Lacus. "I would also like to visit the Archangel," she said.

[Sakurai Honoka]

Although Sakurai was in the military, she could not help having a soft spot when it comes to romance. She is a hopeless romance even though she is shy. She began to smile as she sees Kira smiling and talking about Lacus. The two of them have through a lot. It also reminded her of a boy she met a long time ago.

[Kira Yamato]

Kira smiled at Sakura. "The Archangel is docked in Onogoro Island. It has become a part of Orb's fleet. We will get a chance to see it again," he said. Kira then noticed the blinking red light. "Sakura can you please activate the special shielding so we can safely enter Earth's atmosphere," said Kira to Sakura.
