Lacus Clyne waved at Eric as he left. The chairwoman saw that Lacus Jewell really wanted to help. She smiled and said, "You can't do everything just because you have the heart and power to do it." "I told this to Kira a long time ago and I think it is fitting for this situation. Please do not bare the responsibility on your shoulders alone. We all have our contributions," she added.

Kira overheard what the chairwoman had to say to Lacus. Hearing her words bring inspiration to him. Lacus Clyne has helped numerous times. Kira just smiled thinking about all that Lacus Clyne has done for him.

Lacus Smiled to the chairwoman and said "Thanks for your kind words, it makes me happy, of course im a little concerned, that im only able to help a little. But i will do my best, when i have the chance" She winked with her right eye and kept smiling.

Lacus Clyne smiled in return. "You certainly remind me of me when I was younger," she said. The chairwoman notice some similarities between herself and Lacus when she was younger. The chairwoman began to giggle as it brought fond memories of when she first met Kira.

Kira was delegating among the ZAFT soldiers. He wanted to make sure that every possible location an enemy may slip is secured. They almost lost the capital, but regained it with the help of others.

Sakura was glad to be out of the ship for awhile. In the distance, she could see the chairwoman and Commander Yamato. She went towards their direction.

Kira started to hear a beep from his watch. He pushed it and a message from the ship told him that Minerva's sensors picked up a distress signal not far from Aprilius. "This could be Eric's ship," he said to everyone. |

Kira looked at the chairwoman and Lacus Jewell. "I am going to head out and help Eric. Shinya and Sakurai are on their way," he said. Kira gave Lacus Clyne a quick kiss and ran towards the Minerva. He quickly got into mobile suit uniform and went to Wing Zero One's cockpit. "Kira Yamato, Zero One, Ikimasu!" shouted Kira as Wing Zero One took off and headed towards the debris belt |

Lacus saluted and watched Kira run to the ship.
She then turned her head to Lacus Clyne and said "Im sorry my lady, but i don't understand what you meant by sortie" she smiled and got an akward face.

Lacus laughed a little and Said " ofcourse i Will fight, i Will dó anything im my power to help, but i guess The only thing i Can do now is standing standby or i Can be your bodyguard" she smiled a little, when she saw The chairwoman giggle.
