In an unknown location of Zodiac there was a classified study in the effects of the extended program. The chairman at the time, had no idea this was taking place. A group of scientist who practice unlawful practices visited Labadonia and took with them, the research and information they could find about extended. Many experiments were done with orphan children and teens. All, but one perished. The scientists attempted to create the ultimate weapon, one to surpass "the ultimate coordinator."
The unknown female was a success. However, she came out with different results. She is orginally a coordinator, but with drugs and harsh mental training, she became the first extended. The project was called Anemone, which was given to her as a name. She was 13 at the time.
2 years later the first bloody valentine war broke out and the lab was infiltrated by Naturals. In the last ditch effort to save their project Anemone and a few surviving scientist left on a shuttle barely escaping. Anemone and the others made it back to PLANTs, but the shuttle crash landed into a colony. Anemone survives. With no home and no family Anemone is joins ZAFT. Later in the war she was lost in battle when Providence attacked. She survives and she been moving place to place. She feels lonely and has no purpose.
2 years past, and she has been going places to place still fighting from time to time.
