Personality : Miroku doesn't display any emotion while speaking combined with his use of sarcasm. He is very polite when speaking even to the enemy. He always make sarcastic remarks and on rare occasions he may lose this attitude and get serious. He also loves to read.
History : Miroku Angelo name use to be Miroku Leonhart. He grew up in a wealthy with his twin sister Star Leonhart. They spent almost everyday together. Once they got old Miroku found out that Star was really his sister and their parents really wasn't his parent so he ran away and changed his last name to Angelo because it was one of his favorite authors. He wanted to find out who his real family was. Well, what he found changed his life. He found out that he wasn't even really human that he was some clone of some boy named Kira Yamato. He was shooked and filled with hatred. When the first war broke out was leaving in PLANT. Toward the end of the war word got around to him that the Earth Alliance has some 'Ultimate Coordinator' named Kira Yamato. He knew that this had to be the person he was looking for so he enlisted in ZAFT in order to kill Kira, but never got his chance due to the fact they never met in battle. He did earn himself the nickname the Nightmare of Jachin Due.
Once the second war broke out he was assigned to ZAFT Mobile Attack Team or MAT for short. That when he met Fate Lingod who became his best friend. Fate was the only person who really got Miroku's sacastic attitude. MAT was always sent on top secret missions and always were the first to be sent in combat if there was a major operation or something like that. At the end of the second war Fate left Miroku and ZAFT to join Star in Orb, leaving Miroku by himself. After that Miroku hated Fate for leaving him. There was nothing left for him in ZAFT so he quit.
Shortly after quitting ZAFT he ran into a man who called himself Rau Le Creuset and he asked him if he wanted to join him. Rau Le Creuset took Miroku his goal of destroying mankind and more importantly how he could help him find Kira so he could kill him. Miroku couldn't turn down the offer. Now only would he get to get his chance to kill Kira, but he would also be able to destrou mankind for what they did to him and so they want be able to make more clones like himself.
