She replied to Athrun with a smile. Suddenly she remembered visiting Orb Memorial with Kira and seeing him with another girl. "What about that other girl that was with you when Kira and I visited Orb Memorial?" she asked him. She then said, "Meryin was her name."

"Me and Meyrin weren't exactly going out or anything Lacus, but I did see her off when she wanted to come back to the PLANTS." Athrun said to Lacus as calm as he could.

Yeah you are right Lacus its because I was the only person she knew from the Minerva. Then Athrun begins to think about the times he spent when he was still on the Minerva.

Lacus then looked at Athrun with concern. "Are you alright, Athrun?" she asked. She saw Athrun going into deep thought. She was wondering if this war is going to affect him and Cagalli.

Lacus looked at Athrun once more. "Do you desire to return to that ship?" she said. Lacus then told Athrun that although Talia Gladys is dead, the ship Minerva, still maintains its position as the Chairwoman's main ship.

Lacus looked towards at Athrun and smiled. "I am happy to hear that," she said to him as she smiled. Though the room was now empty Lacus and Athrun continued their conversation.

Athrun thought about the Earth Alliance ship he saw heading to Earth then he asked Lacus, "Lacus I saw a Earth Alliance ship going to Earth did it stop here by any chance?"

Lacus thought awhile and replied to Athrun. "Actually there was an Earth Alliance Captain that was here for my memorial service for the people. He helped us fight against the ones who were trying to kill me. Mwu immediately recognize him as a Phantom Pain Captain." he said to him.

"According to Mwu, it does not seem like it. He doesn't 'sense' him at all like le Creuset," she replied to him. She then to a brief moment to think about everyone around her. "I just hope Cagalli does not have to face the ones who were after me," she said to Athrun.
